Numbness on a certain part of your stomach?

I have this spot on my stomach right underneath my right breast where for a while there I was having to push on it cause the baby was either kicking me or pushing his head right there. Well now it is just numb there. Has anybody else had that? I know my sister in law did and it wasnt good. Just wanted to get some more opinions on it

  • The spot right under my belly button is kind of numb to the touch but it's just because the skin has stretched so much so maybe that's the case for you?

  • I do, but it's not where you have yours. Mine is on my lower abdomen (to the left and right of my belly button), and around where I have the most stretch marks. I'm assuming it's related to the stretch marks.

Me too! It's like a small flabby piece that has lost the will to live!

I have this! Not all the time but several times throughout the day I will have a numb spot under my right breast! It goes away eventually but I just assumed it was my sons foot on a nerve!? I hope that's all it is and nothing major. What was wrong in your sister in laws case?

  • I have numbness at the very top in the center. I have read that it is from the skin stretching and stretching the nerve endings. It will go back to normal after the baby is born.

I have the same issue. I have had it with all 3 of my pregnancies. same spot. It always goes away after birth.  It is just a weird feeling. Dr didn't seem concerned.

  • Well when she told the doctor she was shocked and the baby still wasnt turned. Its where her head was and her fluids were really low so they took her to the hospital and hooked her up to ivs and waited tell the next day to see if that would help her fluids build back up and they were lower. So the baby couldnt get turned around in there and she had to have a c-section that day 3 weeks early..but i am going to talk to my doctor here soon so we well see what she says
