1st IUI tomorrow..any tips?

Hi! I am going in for my 1st IUI tomorrow and am mostly excited. Any tips on what to expect?

Me: 27, DH 30. TTC since June'10. Lap. in Aug'11 to open right tube, and remove very mild endo. DH just fine. IUI #1 Oct.2011, BFN, cyst forced to wait, IUI#2 BFN.     I had my first IUI yesterday-- it was super quick and painless.  It took MAYBE 3 minutes.  Have you been monitored this cycle w/ trans-vag ultrasounds?  It is way less of a pain in the neck than the vag cam.  Good luck!
    Me: 30, Dx Unexplained/hypothalamic amenorrhea
    DH: 31, normal!
    April/May 2011: Menopur + Ovidrel +TI = BFN
    Oct 2011: Menopur + Hcg +IUI = BFP!
    Beta #1 (13dpiui)= 129.7, Beta #2 (15 dpiui)= 305

    For me, every IUI felt a little different. Sometimes, I didn't feel a thing and others I felt a tiny cramp when the catheter was inserted. I actually think they are way better than a pap! It's a breeze :) Good luck!!

    Mine have all been easy. Just remember a book or a magazine for afterwards - my doc has me lay there for about 20 minutes afterwards.

    Very similar to a pap...much easier than a lot of the other stuff we go through! GL!
    After 5 TI Clomid cycles, 5 IUIs, and 2 IVFs we finally got our BFP!
    Beta#1 (12dp3dt)= 353, Beta#2 (15dp3dt)= 1466, Beta#3 (22dp3dt)= 14,139, First u/s: TWINS!!
    After 10 weeks of bedrest, our two little ladies joined us at 28w6d

    no tips but wanted to say good luck!

    TTC since November 2008; me - poor egg quality,hypothyroidism,missing beta 3 integrin;
    DH - some MFI;

    1 month clomid plus timing - BFN;
    3 months clomid + IUI - BFN BFN BFN

    IVF #1 Nov/Dec 2009 - BFP - c/p;
    IVF #2.1 Jan 2011 - Converted to IUI - BFN;
    IVF #2.2 March/April 2011 - ER 3/23/11: 12 retrieved, 8 mature, 3 fert-ET 3dt 3/26/11: 3 embies - BFN;
    IVF #3 May 2011 - ER 5/19/11: 20 retrieved, 10 mature, 9 fert-ET 5dt 5/24/11 3 embies - BFN;
    Switched RE's for IVF #4 (CCRM) Oct 2011 - Surprise BFP before starting IVF #4!
