So I have been getting bombarded with requests for belly pics. I keep telling people I don't freaking have one to show yet! I gave in today and put my HDBD pic on FB.
The responses so far:
"Ok, seriously, for the love of children, EAT!"
"Seriously??"
"Have you had an u/s, there is no way you are 17 weeks pregnant"
"Is your Dr concerned that you are not gaining weight yet"
(I have to note that I have gained weight, I know I started in the low 130's and yesterday was 142)

Re: REALLY!? Horrible friends/family :(
One of them was my cousin!!! And she was 5 months pregnant at her wedding and she pulled off hiding it still!
Awww, Lily! People suck!
No more bump pics for the fans on FB. Screw 'em! I think you look great!
Someone I don't even know that well said something very similar to me when I posted a bump pic a couple of weeks ago. And then she had to post a pic of her when she was 13 weeks pregnant looking all round bellied. I thought it was really rude that she was insinuating that I was depriving my fetus and not eating or something like that.... everyone pops at different times! Butt out!
I'm sorry, Lily
Try not to let it bother you too much.  You know you've gained weight and that the baby is fine.
Everyone's body carries a pregnancy differently....people should already know this? You are a petite woman that doesn't mean you aren't eating properly...gah, some people!
I'm sorry your friends and family are being buttholes. I probably wouldn't be willing to put up any more bump pics on FB due to their reactions.

That's absurd. Everyone carries differently! My cousin is due in three weeks and I'm currently showing more than she is. She has 5-6 inches of height on me and her belly (as of her last pic) isn't very big at all.
People are just stupid.
I started showing around week 12/13 (which is crazy since I carry about 20 extra lbs, a lot of that in my middle). Just a bit more rounder than I normally am. Did not look pg at all before that, not even during the bloating period. Anyway, I posted all my weekly photos on FB when I announced last week. My (getting to be annoying) bff comments on my week 6 photo.
"Oh, look at the tiny baby bump!"
To which I said, "lol. but that is just my fat."
Of course, she started going on and on about how she knows my body and what I looked like before and there is a bump in that pic.
People are weird.

People are idiots! Sorry you had to go through that. Im 19 weeks and I've lost about 20lbs so I'm smaller than before. Today this lady at work said "wow you are getting skinny" I said we'll thanks, I dont take that as a compliment seeing that Im pregnant and should be gaining weight ad not losing. She felt so bad but I didnt care because she shouldnt have been rude.
So don't feel bad, everybody is different, some people only gain a few lbs while other people lose or stay the same. Don't let people get under your skin, some people are just rude sad to say.
Oh my gosh! That is terrible!!! I am almost to 16 weeks and have zero bump either. My mom asked me if there is really a baby in there.....haha, Mom! Glad to hear I'm not the only one with nothing to show!
I especially love the response that "there is no way you are 17 weeks pregnant." People love to be "know-it-alls" and it drives me crazy!

Oh, there will be no more pictures on FB!
I was in great shape before I got KU, that was the plan! Now I'm extremely happy I worked so hard to get in great shape b/c I have not been allowed to work out at all for (gulp) 9 weeks. I have been an athlete my entire life... I am basically always training for a race of some kind. It may not be visible to anyone else, but there are very BIG differences going on
**Cho**
The Dr has not said one thing about my weight or how little I am showing. I was honestly afraid they were going to say something about me gaining too much. I really think I was around 133 which would put the gain at 9lbs. Just seemed like a lot to not be showing... I don't get on scales and never know how much I weigh. Muscle weighs more than fat and I tend to gain weight when I am training.
I didn't gain at all until week 15 and then, I gained 6 pounds. Dr said it was fine. You know your body and your Dr would let you know if there was a concern! As hard as it is, try not to let it bother you much.
Babies, wedding and funerals bring out the idiot in some people.

WTF. People are JERKS. I'm sorry, Lil. ::hug::
I especially side-eye the "Have you had an u/s, there is no way you are 17 weeks pregnant". Because that person knows everything about how women in all stages of pregnancy are supposed to look/knows more about your pregnancy than you do? That makes me really angry.
Girl, don't worry about this people. They should be ashamed of themselves for even commenting like that!
That one was below the belt for reasons that particular person obviously knows nothing about. Yes, I have had NINE u/s I would have rather not needed thank you very much
Apparently she knows more than the highly trained tech's who have been tracking LO's growth?
Thank you all (again) for brightening my day. I feel like such a downer!
I am thinking of begging DH to go for a sneak peek elective u/s b/c I am feeling like a selfish brat who deserves something happy right now!!
You are not a downer!! People are just jerks!
We are here for you Lily :-) (((((BIG HUGS)))))
DO IT!! I think you totally deserve it!
Ditto! I agree with Salt

You look fabulous - don't let their comments get to you. I think those who posted those comments on your FB are just jealous!
Just think - if you continue to carry like this you'll look fantastic post-pregnancy and when everyone is complaining about not being able to fit back into their clothing you can be sure to let them know how quickly your pre-pregnancy jeans made it back into your closet!
I'm so angry for you! People are idiots!
You look great and you are going to be adorable 9 months pregnant! Seriously, you're going to have a perfect little basketball stomach. I'm jealous!
Sidenote: I want you to be my online workout buddy after we have these babies. I think you could help whip me into shape.
I *really* love Pinterest!
Agreed. I actually did a blog post about the stupid things people say to pregnant women.
According to my scale, I've gained 5 lbs since the beginning of this pregnancy. According to the doctor, I have lost 2 lbs. My mom is all freaking out at me to not gain weight this early. I informed her my doctor isn't concerned about my weight at all and things are a lot different then they were the last time she was pregnant...26 years years ago.
I announced on FB last week, posted my weekly fruit twice. Will not be doing it again because people are annoying.

YES! I am soooo up for that
 I love having motivation too!
::butts in::
Can I get in on this too? At the rate my ass is expanding, I think I'm going to need all the help I can get.
Done!
I'm really starting to pack on the pounds. (Luckily I'm built like an Eastern European farmer, so I hold my weight well.) I'm also been so lazy the past 2 weeks. I went from really making an effort to run/walk every day to now going home and passing out on my couch. I'm starting to get nervous about eventually losing this weight... I miss my good curves.
I *really* love Pinterest!
People can be stupid. With my last pg I was 20w when I told work and they were completely surprised. I was so excited for my baby bump but I didn't have nothing to show off until 7th month. Don't let them bother you - you & baby are doing great.
People are awful! Everyone carries differntly. I'm sorry you had to listen to that. I've gotten the opposite of your comments but still kind of rude.
at 14 weeks I got these comments....
"Wow! You're going to be HUGE by 40 weeks"
"Are you sure there isn't two in there?"
"Fat! lol jk"
"I can't believe you are showing so much already."
2 weeks ago a friend asked and my husband told her I wasn't showing yet. Her response was "oh, so she's one of THOSE girls" in a really snotty tone. Some people just don't think before they talk I swear!
PS-You look great. Being in good shape makes it easier to give birth and to get back into shape, so remind them of that next time they say something!
I work part time at the Home Depot and the other night we had an event and it was the first time most people there had seen me without the apron and I kept getting the "Oh my gosh, you're getting huge!" "Are you sure you aren't further along?" and don't get me started about when snacks came around! Sheesh, half the women were trying to force me to eat and the other half were making sure I was eating fruit not chips and water not sprite.
I feel your pain when it comes to the judgement!
