Just found out today that this was my great grandmother's name... and I kinda like it! My Dad told me that her nn was "Elmina." I kinda think Willa would be a cute nn too, because I would pronounce it more like Willamina, but that spelling looks weird to me....
So, WDYT?

Re: Wilhelmina?
I think it is charming and beautiful and I absolutely LOVE Willa as a nickname. My great grandma went by Wilma which was so typical of the time period but I don't feel like it translates well to our generation.
I love this name with the NN Willa or Mina.
A close friend's 7 month old DS is Oliver Wilhelm, and I love it!

I really like Wilhelmina. It has nice NN options and the full name is interesting but not weird.
I think Willa is a great NN for it. Mina is also cute.
The whole name is a little too fussy/ancient for me, but I think Willa is cute.
Using a family name is always nice, though.
My dad's great grandmother was Agusta Wilhelmina
I love it.
I like the traditional spelling as well. Willamina is a city near me, and it's pronounced Will-uh-my-nah.
