WalMart has them for around $5 for girls. I'm not sure if they have them for boys but since they don't have any embellishments and are darker in color they should work. They're nice because they're like a soft, stretchy, sweatpant material but they look like jeans, kind of like baby pajama jeans. Only cuter.
I don't know if they would work now, but you should get some dapper snappers when he gets older. They cinch in the waist but they only go through the loops on the back so they don't interfere with diaper changes or potty training. They also have little clips if you want to use them with pants that don't have loops.

I would like toddler skinny jeans. Jack is in size 2T pants for length, but needs a 9-12 months waistline.
Perhaps we have found a niche market? The long, skinny kid?
I'm going to design clothes for the long, skinny kid who's CD'd.
Don't forget about the chunky babies who wear 24 mo, but are still infants (10 mo.)
I'm having a hard time finding cute snap up sleepers w/o feet. Gap makes one, but not larger than 24 mo.... same as Carter's. And I have to buy any/every pattern I can find, even if they are not to my taste.
Changing him in the middle of the night in footed, zip up sleepers is a challenge since he's so long. When he was newborn, it was much easier to do it without waking him fully.
Ash, H&M actually has good pants for CD babies. They are always a bit long, which was good for my mammoth, have the adjustable waste, and enough room in the bum. Most of their jeans are the "skinny" style, though I don't think they are labeled "skinny jeans." Plus! H&M baby is wicked cheap!
Amanda has always had junk in her truck, but I got jeggins at norstroms. They are actually pretty long than most of her other pants. I can try to look up the brand later on.
Re: Where do I find baby skinny jeans?
I know Gymboree has them for girls. You might check there. Allie had a few pair from Gap as an infant, check there too.

Gap has them. Also look for girls jeans. Jason fits better in them than the boys ones. Yes my son wears girls jeans.

Add my son to the list of tall, skinny waisted babies. Buying pants is nearly impossible! Maybe I'll look into skinny jeans.
p.s. it's so damn hard to find adjustable waist in sizes less than 2T. WHY?!
