Hi, my DD had her 4 month vaccines this morning and was extremely upset with all of it. She was practically hyperventilating at the Dr. office. When we got home, I nursed her and she took a nap. After she woke up she seemed to be in a better mood, but about an hour later she was crying inconsolably! She seems like her legs really hurt, but does not seem to have a temp. I gave her some tylenol, but she threw up everything in her stomach not much after that. She has now fallen back asleep. Should I give her more tylenol before the 4 hour window? Should I call the Dr.? She did not have this extreme reaction to the shots at 2 mos. HELP!
Re: xp: 4 month vaccines- HELP
Ditto mamatojackson, the vomiting may have been due to crying so hard. I personally would hesitate to administer more medicine, and I would definitely call the doc just to be on the safe side (about the meds).
The fussiness sounds completely normal though. Also normal: sleeping a lot, eating a lot (comfort nursing). Give her extra TLC for a little while.
