A labor buddy is a bumper that you get/are close to that will post updates to the board when/if you go into labor. So you will exchange emails, texts, or other and when you go into labor you message progress or changes anything you want updated on the board and they will post for you while you are at the hospital.

ETA: I don't know how good of a buddy I will be since I can't get on during work hours, so if my buddies go into labor during the day and contact me, I won't know it until I get home...

Thank you! My EDD is 3/17 and I live in Northern CA if that makes any difference. I am still not sure what labor buddies do, so if someone could clarify the specifics I would be super grateful. Or maybe there is a thread that I can read that I missed that explains it? FTM here and I have been super crazy with progress reports and classroom craziness, so I have not been able to bump as often lately. I miss you all.
