Twin B/Girl names

So here are some girl names we're thinking of...  Boys names are harder for us for some reason.

Kathryn will be called Katie.

Eleanor will be called Ellie.

    I wanted to Vote for 2 lol..I voted for Kathryn Elizabeth, but I also like Ava Elizabeth.

    Ava is cute!  I had a friend just name her daughter Avery which is kinda similar, I love that too!

    They are all kind of NMS but I like Eleanor May the best!

     

    After two losses, a rainbow arrived! DD born 11.5.11
    Dx with severe Asherman's syndrome after a botched PP D&C (pursuing med mal)
    Hysteroscopy Oct '13, not enough progress 
    Hysteroscopy Jan '14, given an end-of-the-road diagnosis
    Joined International Asherman's Association April '14 
    Not ready to give up yet.
    Hysteroscopy with Dr. Isaacson (an expert in the USA) 6.2.14: Good prognosis, at least 50% of cavity open.
    Repeat hysteroscopy scheduled with Dr. I on 6.16.14. Great progress. Unbenched!!!!
    Discussing actively TTC with DH after the heartache of the last year. We're both reeling.

    I'm totes team Katherine Elizabeth :-) Ava is pretty, but Katherine is more classic IMO.

    I chose Kathryn Elizabeth.  I'm Elizabeth and my sister is Katherine.  I love both our names- they are so classic, you just can't go wrong.  I like the spellings Katherine/Catherine better, but Kathryn looks pretty too.

    Eleanor is okay, but she will be one of a million "Ellie"s and I really don't think that name ages well.  I also think Ava is kind of common right now.

    Ok, so I love the nn Ellie (I knew an Eleanor and she wasn't the friendliest but I like Ellie).  I chose Ava Elizabeth.  I wanted my DD2 to be Ava but hubby wasn't a fan...grrr! (but we settled with Avery....close enough).  DD1's middle name is Elizabeth (Ella Elizabeth to be exact) so I love all the names with Elizabeth as the middle name.  It seems to flow with everything.

    I love your name choices!  We have a lot of similar combinations!!!  I voted Eleanor Elizabeth.  I think it is a very strong and beautiful name.  Eleanor is my first choice girls name, and Elizabeth makes me think of Queen Elizabeth I, also  a very strong name.  So hard to pick though!

    I really like them all. I LOVE Ellie - but couldn't convince DH. We would have used Elizabeth Kathleen - nn Ellie Kate (similar to your choices). I think Ellie May sounds super cute though. And she can use Elle or Eleanor when she's older.

    Thanks for all the input!!  I don't think I'm any closer to a decision...but that's okay.  Who knows, a few weeks from now I could have a whole new list of names!!

    We are naming our LO Eleanor and nn will be Ellie, so I'm kind of partial!  I like Eleanor May if you have a longer last name and Eleanor Elizabeth if it's a short one.

    I picked number 2, but then to me, it depends on your last name - is it long or short?  I had a long first and last name, so was glad to have a short middle.  If your last is longer, I would go with number 1 Big Smile  Or even Ava with longer middle.
