HELP ASAP

Picked Paige up tonight and you can see thru her eyes that she is sick.  She has a fever of 100.4 - her first EVER!  I am not sure what to do with her.  She is crying when down crying when up!  ANY SUGGESTIONS?!  TIA!

    100.4 is low.  Give her Tylenol you need to call your pedi to see what dose.  GL

    I don't give any meds until the temp is higher.. call your pedi to see at what point.  A fever is a body's natural way to kill a virus/bacteria.  Give her lots of hugs and kisses and keep her hydrated.

     

    The website askdrsears.com has a good section on when to panic with a fever..

    Ditto the PP. Give her lots of love and make sure she stays hydrated. Does she have a stuffy nose? Or any other symptoms?

    Thanks for the advice.  I know 100.4 is low.  We never sent kids home from daycare unless it was higher than 101.  I was just worried because this is the first "fever" she had.  HOWEVER, I think I cured most of it!  I FED HER....lol.  She seems to be a lot better now that I got tylenol in her and fed her.  She is actually playing - OOPS make that crying now....lol. She has had gas and is burping a lot.  I thought she was going to throw up a minute ago!  YIKES!
