I have read a few times on here that some of you ladies store your pump parts in the fridge in between pumping sessions. I know this sounds like a really stupid question, but how do you do that? Do you just rinse them out? I wash mine with soap and water in between every pump session, but that's starting to get old. I'd love to know a short cut to save me some time from washing.
Thanks!

Yep, and I think that's part of my problem. As of right now I wash everything with soap and hot water after each pumping session (8x a day) and then sterilize once a day. But I'd love to cut down on the cleaning a little bit if I could.
This is what I do. And then Sundays, I use the quicksteam bag to sterilize everything.

Just curious... but why does putting the parts in the fridge in a sealed container work? I would really like to do this and cut some of the time that I've been spending rinsing/disinfecting all of the pump parts. Does it matter how long everything is sitting in the fridge?

I think the theory is that milk is good in the fridge for up to a week, so the milk that may still be on/in the pump parts should at least be fine until the next pump. It is also the same as milk and more things spoiling slower in the fridge than if you left them sitting out all of the time.
