Help with onsie sizes and style?

I am sooooo thankful that I received a bunch of hand-me-downs and I am going through them now.  There seem to be a TON of onsies with short sleeves and no legs in new born and 0-3 month here, and I'm wondering if with our November babies, how many (if any) of these should I keep?  Even in 3 months, it will only be February!

And then there are the short sleeved ones with legs - should I even keep short sleeved stuff in NB and 0-3mo?

  • I liked using short sleeved onsies under pjs. It helped keep DS warm without overheating him. If your place is kept warm they could wear the short sleeves on days when your not going anywhere. Plus babies at that age spit up a lot. My DS had to be changed 3 to 5 times a day. So extras are nice. If you have way too many can always donate.

  • I pulled out almost all of DD1s clothes, and most are short-sleeved since she was born in late May.

I figured I'd use them for layering, or with a swaddle at home.

  • I guess it depends on how often you'll be leaving the house and how warm you keep your house and snuggle your LO. :) I pretty much wore my DD all through my maternity leave and we'd both get sweaty from all the body heat! I'd just keep it all for now and decide what you need once you bring LO home!

Doesn't getting hand me downs make you excited? :)
