DH already talking to belly?

I was having major m/s a couple days ago and my DH started talking to my belly and telling the baby to "calm down in there." It was the cutest thing ever.

Have any pf your DH's started talking to it yet?

    Yes.  Mine talked to the belly yesterday introducing himself as Daddy and that this is the sound of his voice.  Ha ha.

    Mine reads to baby every night and likes to talk to my belly at random moments.  It's really cute and his face is so priceless every time because he looks just so happy.

    But he does seem more at ease about LO#2 than he was when I was pregbant with our first.

    Yeah, he has started talking a little.  I think it's nice.... even though baby can't "hear" him right now, I think it's just a nice bonding time for all of us.

    MH has touched my stomach lovingly and kissed it a few times, but I'd rather he not right now. We haven't told anyone and SIL lives with us, so I don't want her to catch on if she sees him doing that.

    Nursed without dairy, egg, soy, peanut, treenut, fish, shellfish or beef for over a year.
    Currently tandem nursing dairy, egg, and shellfish free.
    DS born via emergency c/s after 20 hrs of labor. DD successful VBAC!

    Yep, he kisses my belly goodbye every morning on his way out the door and "tells" baby to take it easy on me today.

    Mine does the same thing. It makes me so happy to hear him talk to my belly.

    Yeah, mine does too!  Although a couple of times when I thought he was going to kiss my belly, he blew on it instead to tickle me and it scared me to death.  Glad the baby couldn't hear yet...probably would have freaked the little guy out!  Oh DH...so silly.

    My DH reads a book to my belly every night.  He's a 2nd grade teacher so we actually have enough books for the next 8 months.
    Me: 27, DH: 28 TTC since 11/09
    2/10 & 3/10 Clomid 50mg-BFN
    5/10-Lap Surgery for Stage 2 Endo
    3/11-IUI#1 with Follistim and Menopur-developed mild OHSS= BFN
    6/11-IUI#2 with Follistim -developed moderate OHSS= BFN!
    7/11-FSH-11, AMH 1.6
    9/11-ttc naturally with positive thoughts :)
    10/6/11-POSITIVE pregnancy test!!! 15dpo BETA-220
    6/14/2012- Riley Harper arrived!! We love our little girl
