Nipple question

I'm kind of having a weird situation going on with my nipples.  1) They're itchy as HECK!! (this I expected) 2) My doctor checked them out and prescribed me a cream because she said it looked like I was developing yeast on my areolas.  3) THE WEIRD PART: my areolas seem to be...leaking?  They're chapped most of the time but sometimes there's pus-like leakage and will make my bra stick (ouch) so I've been wearing lanolin and gauze. 

Anyone else having this weird situation??

    Mine used to itch alot earlier, like 1st tri and early 2nd. 

    And mine have been leaking for quite a while now. My bra's don't stick, and I really only notice the leaking when I massage my lotion into them, or during sex too (hot right?, lol). The leaking really grosses me out, but look on the bright side, at least you know your boobs are working!!

    I'm not having that problem, but leakage is a fairly common thing.

    Sounds painful.  I hope it gets better for you soon! 

    Mine seem to be pointy all the time.  It's rather embarassing!!!  Padded bra and two shirts and I still have headlights.  Ugh!

    I have MAJOR intense itchy nips! I will be out in public and notice all of a sudden that I am digging at them UNDER my bra! How embarrassing. I am just so used to doing it constantly at home it's second nature. I've tried to be more conscious of it in public now though ;-p I have started leaking a bit, but only it I squeeze a bit, and it's clear. I think if it were pus colored I'd get it checked by my Dr. I nursed DD for 2 1/2 years and never experienced pus-like leakage.

    I doubt it's pus.  Generally colostrum (what you produce early on) is a yellowish color.  I started leaking it early last time I was pregnant too.

    I agree. Sounds normal to me. I vaguely remember that happening to me a bit. Start wearing nursing pads. They are generally non-stick, and lanolin is great too.
