depends. usually if i'm holding him i can get him to settle down. sometimes the poor thing gets so gassy that nothing will help and he just cries until he farts. most of the time he just cries when he's hungry, which is an easy fix.
ds1 cried all the time. stupid colic.

Not sure how to accurately describe... If she is fighting a nap, she will cry until I give in with a breast (and then she will fall asleep, usually)! I don't let her cry more than a minute or two if I can help it... Then again, our witching hour, 10-11pm, she cries almost the entire hour... With a few small breaks.
I say a small prayer every night that she doesn't end up with colic...

Usually only when I lay him down(while already asleep) in his crib. And of course, any time I try to get stuff done around the house. And I bet that once DH and I restart our sex life, he's gonna cry then, too. He also cries if I cannot get to him fast enough once his grunting and squirming starts when he is hungry.

He usually only cries if he's hungry and I don't hear him grunting before the crying starts or while I'm feeding him if my let down is too fast sometimes he gets flustered and lets out a little cry. He also cries if he gets too sleepy but I've gotten pretty good at getting him down before he's over;y tired.

Er... hard to say. It varies on any given day. Though we do have a pretty fussy period at night for about 3 hours or so like clockwork. She will cry before a feeding and then the entire time before the next feeding.
I had a bad couple of days last week where it seemed like if she wasn't asleep or eating she was always crying ad we probably only got a hour or2 each day ( in the morning) where she was awake and alert and not screaming bloody murder.

This...only my DC#2 is a girl
During the day only when he is hungry. At night is a different story as he cries whenever I try to put him down in his bassinett!

Today has been much better.
