Having to eat SLOW...

Ugh... I haven't puked yet but I have a general feeling of icky that just won't pass.  When I eat anything I have to eat super super slowly or I feel like I have to puke.  Seriously, it takes me around 30 minutes just to eat a snack.  I have been working on a pear and some almonds for the past hour!

  • Up until today, this was me.  I never threw up but always felt like I was about too.  I feel much better today now though, so hopefully you will soon also!
  • I hear yah on that. Most times nowadays to even start thinking of food brings on nausea. Had to eat my lunch slowly yesterday, and in the end, I ate only half. *sigh* When will this end? I feel like I'm starving myself and my baby. I haven't puked yet (and i really don't want to start), but the nausea sometimes is just as bad.

  • This happened to me at lunch today.  I wanted a sub from Subway but the line was wayyyy too long, so I got a salad at a different restaurant instead.  The instant I sat down, the thought of eating the salad was gross to me.  So I forced myself to eat it because the baby needs nutrients, and it took forever.  With every bite, I thought I might throw up.  I learned that if I am craving something, it's better if I just eat that, because other food just doesn't sit well (within reason, of course!)
  • I do the same....I get nervous anything will make me hurl, so not eating fast makes me feel that less will come up.  :(

  • I feel the same way when I eat.  I literally had a soup and salad tonight and felt like i was full up to my throat...i couldn't finish the salad because i felt icky and like i was about to throw up.  It's IMPOSSIBLE for me to eat slowly...I'm so used to inhaling my food that my version of slow is still probably pretty fast...even if i drink something i have to burp 47 times and feel like a water balloon
