I'm emailing building management because I'd like to find out if there are any offices that have space set aside for pumping that I can use. I've always used our conference room when it is free, but I've never really felt comfortable in there.
Would you call it a pumping room? A Mother's room?
Re: what would you call a pumping room?
Ah, lol. I knew there was some obvious name for it that I was missing. Thanks.

they built 3 of these here and this is essentially what they are for (big comfy chair, side table, outlets, soft lighting lamp, counter space, sink, fridge, etc...)
However, so that it wouldn't be "discriminatory" to the men in the building, they call it "Quiet Room"

The Quiet Room that men can't visit? LOL
LOL, but they can. If they want to catch a 20 min nap, they can. Once I went to pump and someone was in one with the door wide open just spread out eating their lunch. Grrrrrrrr.

I'm not sure what they call it here because it's connected to the bathroom. But I did tell hubs that he's having the next child, so he'll need his own lactation room. I don't think that idea caught on yet.

At my school it's called the bathroom. It's super comfortable :-/
But this year I have my own private bathroom in my room. Plus a huge closet. So I'll just pump in one of those.
