Christmas Gift Ideas?

I have zero ideas for my kids. Anyone thinking about this yet?

We wanted to get an outdoor playhouse last year and waited too late and couldn't find one we liked. Maybe this time, we will be more on the ball! Otherwise, he has so many toys and clothes, he really doesn't "need" anything. Don't know if we will really do anything for DD, since she will only be a month old.

I'm probably not much help to you since I have a boy and he's younger than your kids but here's what I've thought of so far (he has a Jan. birthday so it's a double whammy):

Trike (I think this will be his big santa gift), a rody pony, art supplies, an easel (I want one that goes on the wall), books & clothes (of course), maybe one of those small indoor trampolines, play tent, probably some sort of building toy.

I need to get specific and work on his amazon list because family members are going to be asking me and w/ Christmas & his birthday so close together it's a lot.

We're thinking about getting A the new Kindle tablet thing... then she'll have her own tablet to read/learn/play on.

With J we have no idea.

Char's birthday is at the end of February, so we also sort of have the double whammy issue...so usually when I make gift lists for her, it's for both

The only thing I know I want to get her (coming from Santa) is a tricycle ~ a REAL one with training wheels I even know the one I want to get her. And of course, with that will come a helmet and possibly knee pads.

I'm sure she'll get some books and snacks. Otherwise, I have nothing right now.

I think C's main gift this year is going to be some kind of learn to read "toy," ie- TAG, Leapster, etc. He's interested in spelling and knowing what signs we see say so we want to encourage that. He'll probably get some books, puzzles and possibly some Legos too.

The only definite thing on our list is a LeapPad for Maddie. She loves my iPad and she enjoys her leapster so i think she'll like it.

I think A is getting a dollhouse and J is getting a drum set (not my idea) from us.

I'm thinking we'll get a C some sort of play kitchen or grill.

sad, we got one of those for Maddie when she was 1 and it has gotten LOTS of use. Maren uses it now and they fight over it. Maybe we should get another one?

OH YAY! this is exactly what we're thinking for DS! (and i think our sons are only like weeks apart!) i'm really dreading any more toys for either of our kids. we already have a MILLION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For DD, every ounce of her body is obsessed with babies..real and dolls. so we're going to get her baby doll "stuff"... high chair, bed, etc.

So far, I'm getting Cooper a picnic table for outside. My mom has decided to go overboard (like 200%) and the ILs snatched up some pretty cool Thomas stuff, so he really won't care what we give him. :-)

I've picked up a few small things here and there - books, puzzles, etc. But nothing major.
