Has anyone transitioned to only one nap a day yet? How did you know that LO was ready? I'm starting to think DD is ready. She's taking a shorter second nap and really fights me on going down unusual for her. Today, she woke up for the day at 4 am. I think she just got too much sleep the last few days and maybe only needs one midday nap. Any advice?

DS starts daycare next week, so I've been trying to slowly change his schedule to the daycare one, which is one nap a day. The schedule is pretty much like the one above. Instead of 2 short hour naps, he's consolidating to one long 2-3 hour nap. I kinda like it!
He seems ready when he started fighting his second nap or only sleeping for 30 mins.

This is Landon. He either takes two short naps or one longer one most days now.
We've been down to one nap a day for a few weeks now. He went from 3, to 2, to 1. It's nice, because he took all his naps and turned it into one big long one. I feel like I can have more peace and quiet to get some things down now that it has come to this.
I have pushed it to afternoon, so he's not super tired by the end of the day. He takes his nap from about 11:30 to 1:30.
Sometimes 12-2. or 1-3. It all depends on the day.
