2nd birthday party theme for boy?

I originally was thinking baseball.

Now I want to explore other options before I make a final decision.

Any suggestions? Extra helpful if you have seen it done/can link to blog pics, etc.

We're doing a transportation theme. DS is obsessed with anything car, truck, bus, train, etc related. There's a ton of ideas on Pinterest.

bahahaha. DS is obsessed with Elmo too, so that's what we'll be doing for his 2nd birthday party! BUT, I was laughing at how your DS says it. My DS says eldo. haha.

When my older son was 2, he loved music. We had a guitar/music themed party. I used Michael Miller Groovy Guitar fabric for his bday shirt and to inspire other decorations. We had a guitar shaped cake, and has his Music Together teacher come to our house and taught a class for the kids. I loved it because the kids were actively engaged in an activity and not running around like maniacs the whole time. For favors the kids got egg shakers and we made a cd of DS's favorite songs. It turned out super cute and everyone loved it!

We did Wiggles for DS1. We are doing baseball for DS2 this weekend. Other themes we have done are pirates and aviation.

I was going to suggest a rock & roll theme.
