We're debating on getting one of these (v.s. a new regular sofa) mostly for DH. The new baby will be in a bassinet in our room for the 1st few months & if he/she is noisy, my light-sleeper husband won't get any sleep at all. We have a small house, so there are no spare rooms he could go to except the living room.
I remember my parent's sleeper sofa (20+ yrs ago) was horribly uncomfortable w/a metal bar & springs poking into your back. Has technology improved since then or would a regular couch be a better bet?
TIA!
Re: Are sleeper sofas comfortable?
I find them uncomfortable for both sitting and sleeping!
We got a dual reclining sofa from La-Z-Boy and it is fabulous for sitting and sleeping.
