Who has names already picked out and agreed upon?
And are you sharing??
We will use the boy name we had picked out if DD was a boy, although we may change the MN. As for a girl....we have nothing!

We had names picked out - William Paul for a boy, Elizabeth Ruth for a girl (all grandparents names) but now I'm having second thoughts about William and Elizabeth....I'm iffy on it. I dunno. DH is so mad bc he says "we had this names nailed down so we didnt have to listen to suggestions for 10 months!"
ETA: I am not sure if we will share when we do finally definitively pick out a name, at least not as a "YES this is the name" thing bc I am kind of expecting to meet the baby and change my mind.
Love, love, love! I'm a big fan of classic names. ANd those with family connections are even better!
We have the boys name decided on, James Warren. The baby will be the 4th James in a row if it's a boy, and Warren is after my grandfather.
We can not agree on a girls name though. My name is Tamara, and although people constantly mess it up, I love having a unique name. I want my daughter to have a unique name (not necessarily one that people will not be able to be pronounce). My husband's first suggestion was Mary
ugh. We will probably wait to see what the baby is, and if it's a girl THEN we will argue what the name is going to be lol.
My husband had wanted James since he's a James and his father is one...but they both have nicknames, and we are running out of them, so I came up with Mason James. Mason is his mom's side of the family's last name, so it tributes that entire family (his grandfather will love it), and for a girl we are not really sure, Brooke Lynn, Becca or Rebecca Lynn, or Abigail (Abby) Lynn. Not sure we are agreeing on the girls names.
I'm impressed! With DS we couldn't decide on a name until after he was born. It was the next day that we nailed it down. We had a couple of names but were trying to find the combination we liked.
We were also team green and thought all along that he was a girl so really didn't talk too much about boy names. I guess this time around we should be more prepared!
We've agreed on names, but I still like to look.We are telling people because my cousin is also pregnant and these are family names. I'm completely aware of how petty that sounds but I've always wanted family names and these are the ones we agreed on.

My husband thinks we do haha. We have names we both like and he is now set on those, but I am of course the one that can't make a decesion this early! We haven't decided if we are going to share with family beforehand because we don't want to have to deal with negative comments on any name we pick.
So far the names are Ada Rae and Axel Jay. Both middle names have family connections (sisters middle name and grandfathers middle name). The first names are just names we like that go with our long last name. Both of our families use middle names with family connections but not first names, and that is my style also.

I have to tell you...in this day and age...Mary actually is a really unique name. No one uses it anymore! My friend named her DD Mary and my first reaction was 'ugh...so boring and common!'.
Well, now her DD is in pre-school with 3 Ava's, 2 Madison's and an assortment of Chloe's, Kiara's, Teagan's etc and the name Mary actually stands alone! Anyway, just thought i'd share!
We have a boy named picked out- Levi Shaw (shaw is a family name).
Our girl list is about 5 names long. If we find out we're having a girl, then we'll most likely get it down to 2 or 3 and bring them to the hospital with us. I know I'll want to meet her before I name her.
Our girl names are : Miriam, Baila, Scarlett, Lorelei, and Eleanor
I don't think we'll be telling friends/family our name picks until after the baby is born. There are just too many opinionated people out there!

We will share... we had family members not share... and while we (before TTC) thought we wouldn't share, I find it a bit pretentious not to share now.
Our MN choices are family names (Isabel was my Nana's MN and James is DH, my dad, my grandfather, my FIL's name).

We do. We've had a girl name since I was pregnant with DS and our boy name was decided pretty early. We'll share the names when we know the gender.
ETA: I'm kind of scared to share them online, I know that's silly... but,
Girl would be Lena Ruth (Lena is DH's grandmother and Ruth was my grandmother's name and is my mom's name)
Boy would be Lucas Charles (Lucas b/c we like it, Charles after my grandfather and uncle)

We agree on a girls full name, the boys name is narrowed down to 4. We won't be sharing the names with friends or family until they arrive.
Girl: Cara Elaine (or Kara, still not sure on spelling)
Boys Short List: Reid, Liam, Nathan, Parker
We have a couple of names picked out for both genders, but we're much more sure of our girl names than boy names. However, we will NOT be sharing the name with our friends and family!
We made the mistake about talking about baby names with them in the past, and they just had a comment on every name! I don't care that you went to school with a so-and-so and they were dirty/mean/dumb, etc. I just don't want to hear it.
We will tell them the gender, and we will gladly hear suggestions, but we don't want to say what the name will be until our baby arrives. Also, who knows? We may change our minds the moment we meet our little guy/gal!

Our middle names are set in stone. Dean for a boy after my dad and Marie for a girl after DH's grandmother. We will share first names when we figure out what they are but we are keeping the middle names secret.
Well since I'm Crystal, he's Corey and our dog is Charlie, we decided to stick with the Cs. He thinks it's tacky but I can't resist!
For a girls name we have decided Cheyanne Rose (Cheyanne is my middle name and Rose runs in his family). I'm not crazy about Rose at all.
We are hoping it's a boy and we cannot come to an agreement or find a good C name for a boy. I LOVE Christian Thomas (Christian is my brother and Thomas is his father's middle name). He thinks Chris is too common and rather go for Ayden -- as if that's not common! I think I might win though.
We have a few lists going, but our favorites are:
Boy - Seth Louie OR Lucas Anthony --- MN Louie is a family name - both of us have great uncles named Louis/Louie
Girl - Danyella Rose (We'd probably call her Dany) or Bethany Rose -- MN Rose is for my mother
I think we have names pretty much settled. We're still playing around with middle names, though, so those aren't set in stone.
Boy: Uriah Michael
Girl: Peyton Mae
We could change our minds, though. With my first pregnancy, DH was set on having Ezra for a boy, and as much as it's starting to grow on me, I think that we'll always think of our little angel baby as Ezra.
As for sharing, I'm not sure if we will. I think our family is already sort of aware of the names that we like and SIL and BIL know for sure, so when they have baby # 2, we won't have to worry about them wanting to use the same names.

I think we're set on a boy's name- Ryan James (MN after DH's dad). For a girl, we're pretty happy with Lucy Rose (MN is my middle name and used on my side of the family quite a bit), but that might change. DH's last name is long and Italian, so we like short simple first names which is tough for girls.
We don't plan on sharing with family until the baby is born and birth certificate papers are handed in- too much "how about this instead"... it just gets annoying.
DH and I have been TTC for a while so we have had alot of time to think on names. However, a trillion friends and family members have given birth since we started lol. Kept taking our names!! We were positive about Liam for a boy and maybe Quinn for a girl but they were both snatched up. Now we definitely agree on 2 boy names (we are wishful thinking for twins): Oliver Gordon and Wyatt Franklin. We have finally narrowed to 3 girl names: Raelyn Elizabeth, Avery Elizabeth and Riley Elizabeth. And yes we are sooooooo tellin' and I will glare at everyone so they don't use them lol!
Yes, and we will share if we choose not to share the sex of the baby. If we do share the sex of the baby, we won't share.

We are officially nailed down! I'm glad to have it taken care of. It's stressful naming a baby!
Boy: Brendan William
Brendan after my late MIL, Brenda. William is because it's the root of both of our mother's maiden names, FIL's middle name, DH's grandpa's first name, and his favorite cousin's first name.
Girl: Tessa Kay
Tessa was to be my brother's name if he were a girl and I've always loved it! Kay is my mother's middle name.
I'm going to share my names. I don't mind if people know. I'm not budging, and they're nice names. It's not like I made something up.
