Are you in maternity jeans yet?

I've been doing the bella band for a few weeks, but I think its time to get a pair of cute, comfy maternity jeans. When did you start wearing yours? I'm going on 19 weeks tomorrow, and my reg jeans are just too uncomfortable!

I just made the switch a couple days ago. I was doing the Bella Band for a couple weeks but I didn't like the way it looks. Maternity jeans are SO much more comfortable!

I am still wearing normal dress pants...but probably only for another week or two.

Bought 2 pairs last weekend at 22 weeks. Wore a pair Saturday night - sooooo comfortable! I got some full panel jeans from Motherhood Maternity in boot cut and straight leg. Luckily they have petite lengths which is a must-have for me.

I was using the hair tie up until Saturday. I bought a pair that are nice and comfy.. I still will wear my old jeans but sometimes I cant handle the tightness and willw ear the maternity jeans

This pretty much. I don't think my maternity jeans are as cute though and I seem to always have to hike them up. I probably move around too much chasing after two, two-year olds all day.

Not yet. Even though I gained a lot last pregnancy, I pretty much wore jeans the whole time comfortably. I also carry really really high, though.

Don't feel bad Tak. I've been in mine since 12 weeks. My regular jeans kept unzipping on me (the next size up is too big) and the belly band kept riding up. Embarrassed

Ha! I have been in mine for a looong time. Probably at 10 weeks or so. I never bothered with a bella band. I really like my maternity jeans.

at least for the past 6 weeks for me.

I got sick of the bella band after a week or two. It just kept sliding all over the place. up, down, bunching. And then where i left my button undone, it stuck up and made a bump under my shirt. It kind of annoyed me.

I think i bought a pair at 19 weeks... I still only wear them maybe once a week and wear my normal fat pants the rest of the time, no bella band.. I hate that thing.

Yes, but only because I already had them from being pregnant before and they are so comfortable. I could have gotten away with the bella band for a while longer, but once you wear the maternity jeans, you'll never go back. They are amazing!

i had been using a hair tie, but it's really just awkward. i wore my maternity jeans for the first time today, and it was pretty awesome. no waistband digging in while i was driving, or after dinner. i got the full panel, but they're a little to big so i fold it down once. i feel like they make me look a little more pregnant than fat by accentuating the lower half of my "bump."

I'm still in the bella band, which I really like. I can wear my jeans normally for most of the day, but when the bloat sets in I put the band on (or when I've just washed my jeans so they're really tight). I don't want to have to buy many pairs of maternity jeans, since I'll wear them so little. Since I plan to wear basically the same two pairs of jeans for a few months, I don't want to start anytime soon! Maybe I'll cave and expand my maternity wardrobe, but I really hate the idea of spending a bunch of money on maternity clothes.

even though I've already gained over 25 lbs, my regular jeans still fit me (they are low rise, so didn't go over my belly) UNTIL yesterday when I discovered a hole in the crotch-lol. I hear ya with the bella band, but maternity jeans are just too loose and they fall down. I got a couple of pairs of maternity leggings from old navy so I hope that they work until I fit into the jeans.

Haven't needed to wear them. In fact, I lost weight since I got pregnant and even though I'm showing, I haven't even needed to buy any maternity clothes. My jeans still fit me good, no rubber bands/belly bands holding them up. I'm glad, but I know my days are numbered!

I'm 18 wks and I've been in maternity pants since like... 10 weeks... I haven't 'gained' any weight yet but my belly was so bloated in the beginning and now it's getting bigger so I was more about comfort than anything else!

Yes I bought them this past weekend and they are soooooo comfortable, seriously i wish I would have started thinking about them sooner! I got two pairs at destination maternity and they are stylish and hip to me, my husband thought I was wearing my original jeans when I came out of the dressing room.

Yes, but I constantly have to pull them up because I haven't grown into them yet (I bought a larger size). When I tried the bella band at home I felt like my pants were falling off, so I went straight to maternity pants.

I switch between both regular pants and maternity but regular pants are SOO uncomfy - I can't button them so I use the elastic, time for me to go to 100% maternity pants. All my jeans are maternity now since they have less "give".

Same here! Gotta love American Eagle low rise jeans, way comfy still! But days all my AE jeans are in the wash I go to my Ann Taylor Loft cargo capris (not maternity) but has a maternity-like waist-band, love them!

I think I transitioned over at the start of second tri. But this is my second (within a close amount of time), so I got big quick, and have all the mat clothes handy. And I hate hate hate the bella band- too uncomfy

Same here, I've been using the hairtie but I just bought some maternity jeans and wore them for the first time yesterday. I felt so nice. I will still try to get away with the hair tie a little bit longer though.

i'm definitely in maternity jeans. i could squeeze into my old skinny jeans at about 18-19 weeks but it was SO not comfortable. i got the gap skinny maternity jeans and they're a godsend. i'm not sure i'll ever go back to regular jeans:)
