Pregnant after 35

question

Ladies, am 7 weeks pregnant and am feeling very bloated these last 2 days.  Is this a normal feeling?  If it is its a new one for me.  Just curious.  Thanks!!

  • Very, very normal. Pregnancy hormones make your intestinal tract slow down which leads to bloat and constipation. This is just the beginning of the fun!

  • Absolutely normal!!!!  I was called puffy and fat at 8 1/2 weeks by my SIL because of how incredibly swollen I was.  So not to worry at all.

  • Yes, I felt bigger a few weeks ago than I do now.  The bloat was awful.  Now it only comes w/ certain bad meal choices!

  • Def. normal....not fun....but normal!! Water (or decaf. Tea) always helps me, but it is all "Par for the course"!!  Good Luck!

  • Thanks ladies.  Good to know.  Today don't feel as bad as last 2 days.  Can't wait to see what else these lovely hormones have in store for me.

  • Totally normal.  Don't worry.  However, since I'm a wise, old pregnant woman now I'd like to offer a piece of advice:  DAILY FIBER.  START.IT.NOW.

Even if you think you won't need it, it won't do any harm but will probably do a lot of good.
