Hello all! First post here =]
I have a very healthy, happy, thriving 7 month old daughter. She is in the 50th
percentile for height and weight, so I feel like she?s growing properly. She?s
as happy as can be! But for the LIFE of me? I can?t get her to eat!
She had her first bowl of rice cereal at 5.5 months old and gobbled it up. She loved
it. She did, however, get very constipated, so I decided to take a break from
it and try again in a couple of weeks. When I tried at 6 months old, she wouldn?t
have it. I?ve been trying for more than a month to get her to eat again, and
she is just not interested at ALL. I can?t get her to eat a single spoonful.
She just grabs the spoon and wants to play with it. Then we both get frustrated
and give up.
Should I be worried? Should I give it a break and try again in a few weeks?
What are some foods that I should try? I?ve tried rice cereal, sweet potatoes,
and corn.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Re: 7 Month Old Still Won't Eat Solids?
How thick are you mixing it? Also when are you feeding it to her? After a bottle, before a bottle?? How are you doing it.
I dont let lo play with the spoon. But he's too interested in the food part.
