Wow...that wasn't my brightest idea....

For dinner, I decided to try this 100% Whole Grain 10 Grain Hot Cereal thing I bought at the grocery store. WTE told me that Hot Cereal, especially not the instant kind, would be healthy, full of nutrients, yadda, yadda, yadda.

So, I follow the instructions, boil the water, and then add what smelled like what horses eat.  I let it cook for 10 minutes and then...OMG. It was like eating cardboard.  I mean, it looked like when my dog would eat some cardboard and then vomit it up.  I just couldn't handle it.  So, I immediately asked DH to throw it in the trash and proceeded to make some scrambled eggs and toast.

BTW, breakfast foods seem to be the only thing that settles my stomach lately. I feel like I should invest in some Eggo stock since I've gone through 2 family packs in the past 4 days...all by myself.   Smile

  • Thanks for the Eggo idea! DH just left to pick up a few things for me....I just text him Eggo Waffles please! That sound delish. I wish I could do dinner over again. I guess I will wait until morning.

  • I agree completely with breakfast foods being the easiest to keep down!  Pancakes and bagles have been my friend!

Eggo Waffles with some strawberry cream cheese = easy lunch at the office
