A quote that made me think of this board

I'm reading Chicken Soup For The Military Wives Soul. This line was in one of the passages and it made me feel so warm and happy to read: 

?"A soldier is called to fight, and the spouse is called to understand. Understanding makes you a hero too"

We're now less than a month from changing everything I've known for 22.5 years and we'll be completely alone, but at least we'll be together until the Army calls him away. This line helps me know I'm never alone in being alone.

    That is a wonderful quote, thank you for sharing. And what you said, about never being alone in being alone....it may not always help you when he is gone, but I can tell you that the nights don't go on forever, and you will always find away to get through your hard moments.
