Hip pain and abdominal pain after sex?!

I am so uncomfortable right now its insane! Its been a while so I tried to be nice and give DH some S-E-X and maaaan, am I wishing I hadn't! My abdomen tensed up and I'm having crazy RLP! I feel like the baby didn't like it at all because he/she scooted up high in my uterus and was pressed up against the wall. It was a trip how well I could feel it by barely pressing on my belly. Then my hips were killing me after as well! I can barely walk cause my hips and lower back are just aching!!!

Has this happened to anyone else!?!?!

PS. Now that I can feel the baby in there, sex is so weird! I'm not a fan of the idea that the baby is right there between us. I never thought I'd feel that way at all but I was sooo wrong!!

  • I def. felt contractions after sex a few nights ago.  My hips don't seem to hurt as long as I'm on top.

  • I've been having constant hip pain even without sex.  We've been consistent with going at it at least 3 times a week so I think my body may have easily adjusted to any abdominal pain.  Before being pregnant, I would get abdominal pain nearly every time, but now I don't really get it.

My hip does fine if I lay on my good side.  Bad thing is my hip hurts when I just go for a walk.  I haven't been able to run for so long!  I'm going to try the stationary bike again.  Perhaps strengthening muscles will help ease some of the pain?

I was actually wondering this myself. I was thinking since we haven't been doing it much (and I haven't been exercising from feeling so crappy) the continuous motions might have been a little hard on my body.
