My face filled with tears reading your post. But these were not tears of grief. Sofia sure is proving herself strong and ready for the fight.
I pray that your doctors and nurses and everyone in the full cycle of Sofia's care have a clear mind with a steady hand to give her the attention and spectrum of science she needs.
I pray for your peace as a couple, as parents, as individuals to find strength and understand all of the information you will be given. That your minds are clear and ready to make decisions and comprehend options.
I understand that no one you love will be able to do much more than comfort you, they will never know exactly what you're going through, but that they are all rooting for your success and peace and want to show you the best they can that they love all three of you.
I pray you find comfort, that you can rest, that you put down any burden you might feel and embrace the road you are already walking down. This is it. This is your time to stand up and be the best parents you can be. This is not a nightmare, this is a blessing.
