And also, I love Sarah McLachlan. I've seen her four times, and she is just incredible.
I'm straight as an arrow, but I have an equal amount of girl crush on both Sarah and Kate. I guess you could say I admire them incredibly, both personality wise and musically. They are both such stand alone artists, and are so, so, so talented. I'm 27, and have been a fan of both since I was 12 years old. They have been a part of my life, forever, and I feel like I've always been able to turn to their music when I've needed it. A soundtrack to my life as well as my soul.
I only hope that my DD has fantastic musical influences to love. She already loves Kate Bush; we got her a ukelele and she "plays" along to "Wuthering Heights" while dancing around with it. Love it
