All you pumpkin-haters, I promise not to flame if you send me any that comes across your path! I was actually wondering about the pumpkin pie Poptarts the other day b/c I haven't seen them yet this year and that's the only kind I'll eat.
My FFFC is that I'm still fuming at my MIL about her attempt to drive somewhere without N in a carseat last weekend. I think concern about her ignorance/lack of concern is normal, but what's flameful is that I realized this morning that if she ever tries that again I may go PsychoMom on her and accuse her of trying to kill my child. I am that angry. It doesn't help that apparently BIL took her side on that too, and he has a 5-year old. WTF. I need to get it out of my system!

I guess my FFFC is that it took me almost 18 months to make it to silver. I need to step it up.

Oh yeah, I posted about it on Monday or Tuesday. Long story short she thought it'd be OK for N and me to run errands with her even though DH had taken the car with the carseat to do something else. She told me to hold N in the backseat or use the 5-year old's booster. I was pretty nice and calm about saying NO but I will go apeshiit if that EVER comes up again.

I probably should, but my ILs are dumb enough that even if we installed it ourselves they would not put N in it just to be stubborn. They think me being safe = thinking I'm "better than them" or some shiit. I basically told DH I never want them to drive N anywhere alone, carseat or no.
