Damn you false labor!!

Last night around 2 am I woke up to contractions. I started to time them and they were about 5 mintues apart and painful. I time them until about 5 am and they were 5 to 3 minutes apart. I got up to take a shower so we could head to the hospital. I called into work and so did my husband. I took my shower and got dressed, but noticed my contractions had slowed down. They were now 10 min apart. At 6 am we decided to go for a walk to get them to speed back up, which they did and they started hurting more. We got home and I sat down for awhile and again they slowed! So we then decided to try some sex (which wasn't pleasant). Contraction picked up again but an half hour later slowed and stopped. So walk #2. Picked up again and when I got home I lost my mucus plug (I had lost some pieces for a couple weeks, but this was a giant gob).

And now here I am today still pregnant and no contractions! The only time I had them with my son was when I went into labor with him, not even BH with his pregnancy. It's all just frustrating!! At my dr appt Tuesday I was 3cm and 60% effaced. Maybe baby just wants to cook for 2 more weeks!
