Talk to me about BH?

This is going to sound dumb I'm sure, but where do you feel BH? I always assumed they were up higher and across the whole belly and unlike menstrual cramps. In the past week or so though I've had a lot of on and off cramping down low that feels a whole lot like menstrual cramps (or #2 cramps!). Embarrassed

My OB said it's all normal, but i'm wondering....could these low cramps be BH? Or are they noticeably different?

    I really don't "feel" much with BH, it's more of a tightening sensation in my upper abdomen, where everything gets hard.

    my BH are just like this. Nothing timeable like a contraction but it feels just like period cramps or #2 cramps. MY stomach is hard for hours or days and it is sometimes low in my pelviv area. been having these for about two weeks. Dr says they are BH. and mine do not go away when i lay down either. but get worse when i up and about.

    This! Just super tight feeling through my abdomen.

    Sometimes my chest feels a little tight too but I attribute that to the fact that this little girl is riding high right under my ribs/boobs.

    My OB said that the menstrual type cramps that I have sometimes that then spread around to my lower back are more like "real" contractions

    Same here. My stomach will get hard up higher, but this is painless. The cramping is much lower, and water/moving around doesn't help. I just have to wait it out it seems.

    For the past week I've been having menstrual like cramps or stomach ache cramps on and off.  Is that what BH's are?  Ugh I wish I just knew when I will go into labor- I'm getting so nervous but I think it's more nervousness of the unknown and the anticipation.  Anyway, 19 more days!!
