Off to the RE I go!

Hi ladies! I know, I know. I've been absent.

Back in Nov/Dec, I was crazy busy with work, then we went on a family vacation and I unplugged a little bit. 2 days after we got home I got a faint positive on a FRER. I got another faint-ish positive 2 days later, but 2 days after that, AF suddenly showed. Another HPT that day was negative. That was the day we left to go to see MH's family for Christmas. We were devastated. This is my 2nd CP in 4 months and my 3rd loss in 10 months of TTC. On top of that, the EDD of my MMC was looming and back when I first joined you all I was convinced I'd be PG before that happened (ah, naivety!). This was (and is) all starting to wear on me, and to say that I needed a break was a gross understatement. I was in no place to offer support to you wonderful ladies! So I removed myself from the day to day of TTCAL and tried to regroup.

I am feeling much better these days and so I wanted to reach out and say hi and just update you all on what was going on. In TTCAL news, we are heading to the RE next week. My OB gave me a referral to an RE at our Fertility Center who specializes in RPL. My husband is convinced that this is all just "bad luck." I disagree, but am trying to cling to his optimism while we head in to the RPL testing gauntlet. Fortunately, AF is due about 3 days after my RE appt, so I will be able to get started with testing quickly. I anticipate an HSG and/or SIS, and tons and tons of bloodwork.

In other (better) news, I was offered a new job that is taking us to South Carolina, where we will be closer to family. Moving back to the south is something we have been working towards for awhile now, so we are really thrilled. The move is really the only thing that I'm holding on to right now to keep my spirits up. We will be moving this spring, so I'm hoping to get all of my RPL testing done before we go so I can figure out what exactly we're dealing with.

    I'm new here, so I wasn't around when you were posting before, but I wanted to wish you good luck with your first RE appointment.  I hope you work towards getting some info.  And congrats on the new job and upcoming move!

    Also have hypothyroidism

    IUI #2:Letrozole CD 3 - 7, Follistim CD 9, Trigger CD 10, IUI CD12. BFN

    Current plan: IVF with PGD. Antagonist - Vivelle Protocal. Stim start 12/1. ER 12/14.

    Hi! I'm new here but I wanted to say good luck. I found that when I finally went to the RE I had a sense of peace that at least we were doing something...and not just waiting around. I hope you get some answers!

    Me: 28 
    DH: 34

    IUD out 8/29/13 and TTC since then.
    BFP 12/29/13
    Bleeding 1/17/14 with LO showing 10 days smaller.
    NMC 1/26/14

    Continued trying every month. Began seeing RE 7/2014.

    12/2/14 got first Rx for Clomid for following cycle.
    12/3/14 BFP!!!
    No heartbeat at 8w4d. D&C scheduled for Jan 7, 14

    Hey lady, welcome back...although I am so very sorry for your latest CP *hug* 

    I am glad that you are moving closer to family and that is a positive thing for you. Good luck at the RE and keep us posted!
    I am not sure how to say this without getting a "solicitation" warning so I guess I just say that I am not longer active on THIS site.

    I felt so much better after getting all the testing done with the RE!  I was scary at first, but so good to know all there is to know and I hope it brings you the same!
