    Lauren is a lucky little girl to have such awesome and loving parents! I hope she brings lots of love and laughter to your family and I admire you so much for your ability to look on the positive side!

    I'm glad you know 100% so you can prepare.  It sounds like you're going to be wonderful parents to a very special little girl.  I am so touched by the way you're handling it and you're going to love being her parents, I have some close family friends with down syndrome children (one with a boy and one with a girl) and those kids have been such a blessing in their lives.  +down syndrome kids are just so beautiful :)  Good luck with everything.

    I have to tell you, this post brought me to tears. One of the only reasons I signed on today was to see your update. You are incredibly brave and optimistic and Lauren is SUCH a lucky lil lady.

    Wow- I agree with everybody else and I love the MN change. Lauren is going to be such a lucky little baby.

    My cousin has down syndrom and she brings soo much life to every party. We love her to pieces! I also have a friend with a 5 year old with down syndrom- what a hoot she is, love her as well!! They have such personalities. :)

    Its an echo of what everyone else has said, but you and your husband are reacting with such grace in what I'm sure has been a stressful situation. Lauren is so lucky to have y'all as her parents and I know you will be as much of a joy in her life as she is sure to be in yours!
