I didn't think I'd been on them that much today because of my back, then I realized they've been down because the most comfortable way to sit is on the edge of the couch leaning slightly forward with pillows jammed behind my back.
A visual:

(Sort of like this, only mine have five toes and no strange black things growing on them. And they aren't currently being held by a very happy asian man.)

No lie, I ran through all the OWTs about how to induce labor today and have settled on foot massage tomorrow if she's still in. We have a place down the street run by a very nice asian family and the last time I went in, the young man giving me my foot massge freaked the f out when I told him I was pregnant (this was in first tri). He'd not accounted for this in his massage and thought what he did would put me into labor.

You know, I've heard that posting new pics of your sweet baby for people to admire can help make the swelling go down ... Just sayin' ...
Its a true story.
Also I think that labor inducing foot massages are a fantastic idea.
I would LOVE a pedicure. I managed to take my polish off 2 weeks ago, but wasn't able to repaint them. I would just do that and pay for the more "intensive" pedicure that includes foot rub and scrub/etc, but I never feel like they spend all that much more time on that one than the basic.
I tried to get DH to at least paint my toenails and he won't do it. LAME. My dad always paints my mom's.
I'm sure there were other things going on but I got a really good pedicure the day before Luke was born.
DH and my mom would not let me get another pedicure during Grace's pregnancy just in case...
