We saw the Jon & Kate +8 episode last night where she showed her PP belly... OMG!! It looked like a big saggy butt on her front!!
I know she had SIX babies- but i'm so worried about how nasty my PP belly will look.... It's not pretty since I had DS - he was 7lb 4oz (a month early)... and I'm 35 so things don't snap back so great anymore...
DH already told me I can get plastic surgery if I really want it - lol.
How bad is it, really? Will I ever look "normal" without surgery?
Re: MoM's - how bad is your PP belly?
How to tell my boys apart
The different types of twins and triplets
Jack, Sydney and Carynne, Annaleigh, JW, Eden...forever in our hearts.
My blog * We made the national news!
Mine isn't too bad. I have a little bit of twin skin, but if I were to actually exercise some and eat better, I could definitely wear a bikini.
I gained 40 lb, I was 32 when they were born, but they were born 10 weeks early and their combined weight was less than 7 lb.
I won't lie.... it's not good. Not good at all. I too was promised a tummy tuck and every time I bring it up, I am called selfish, vain, you name it. I personally will never look normal without surgery. My abs are aaallll forked up- I have a very hard time lifting my legs while laying on my back and for.get. crunches. I can't sit myself up. I was 27 when I had the girls, so even youth wasn't on my side.
/le sigh
Mine is gross. I've never had a super flat stomach, but I've never had rolls or anything. Now my stomach is just plain yucky. I've got stretch marks and saggy skin. Pretty much all the rest of my body went back to normal, but my stomach will never be the same.
I lost all my weight quickly (4 weeks) and work out 4-5 times per week. But I'm not the healthiest of eaters, so that may play a role. Also, I'm sure my age is a factor, too.
I think about plastic surgery often. But I want to make sure I'm done with kids before I try it.
I am only 3 weeks out right now but I can't believe how bad mine is. I honestly hadn't thought that much about it before. I knew I'd have some lingering issues, but I never expected this. At this point, I still look about 4-5 months pregnant. Which is down from looking a good 8 (with a singleton) that I was the first week after. I will be shocked if any of my old clothes ever fit me again.
I am totally thinking I am going to need a tummy tuck to ever look "normal" again. oh well.. it was worth it!
Gail,
I'm 33 & was gigantic when I finally delivered. My stomach is fine...the skin feels a little weird, but it's not saggy or anything like that.
