Intro & a Question

Hi. I am tracy and have two DS (a 2 year old and newborn). I am 41 and DH is 42. I was around 2 years ago but have not posted for awhile.

My DS #1 is having a real hardtime with DS#2. He has been clingy, moody and crying a lot since we had #2 1.5 weeks about. He is now acting up a lot. He did not do that before we had #2. I know it is very soon after having #2. I feel real bad for #1. We have been given him attention and trying to keep his schedule normal. I am not sure what to do to help #1.

I have no advice, since I have only 1 child, but wanted to say that I remember you from the Pregnant after 35 board and to congratulate you on your new baby. I hope things start working out well with your DS1 soon!

I was in your shoes a year ago! DS was having a hard time with DD and being displaced as our #1. We took extra steps to give him attention and tried to spend one on one time with him. Try to really emphasize what a big boy he is and all the things that a big boy can do. It does get better!
