Birth Story and PsIP
First of all, thank you so much for all of your kind words and well wishes last week!! I just keep reading them and re-reading them and smiling all over again.
Second, a huge thanks to LMC for keeping everyone updated and being your normal, wonderful self.
Third, MY GIRLS ARE HERE, MY GIRLS ARE HERE!! And they are absolute perfection wrapped up in 18 and 19 inches of baby!
So here's the story:
I went in my for my weekly appt at 37w/3d and my blood pressure was checked three times, each time becoming a little higher than the last. The doc (not my normal OB) said to come back at 1:00. If it was still high then, we were go for launch! Unfortunately, my normal OB wasnt going to be able to make it bc she was in a conference; however, the other OB agreed to call my RE who I had begged to be part of the delivery since I got pg.
So I went home and wrapped a few things up, DH came home around noon, packed the car and we headed (??) back to the OB. My BP was still high, he sent us to the hosp for c/s! AND he told us that my OB would be able to make it afterall....turns out, he never even told her I was going in... so either my RE (who is friends with my OB) called and told her, or someone in the office did. Either way, my amazing OB and my remarkable RE were coming for the delivery! Score!!
I was taken back for the c/s around 4:00 and it went perfectly!! They had to be a bit careful with my previous surgical history, but it went so smoothly. When my RE walked through the doors, I literally burst into tears, looked at her and said "thank you." I can't imagine where my life would be without her.
Anyway.... at 5:08 PM, Baby A (Charlotte Kelly) was born. The sound of that first cry sent a complete rush/high through my body that I can't quite explain and is one I will never forget. Baby B (Elliot Marie) was born one minute later at 5:09. They were both pink and crying and healthy and beautiful. And I can't wrap my mind around how I got to be this lucky....
We are just about one week in and loving every second! I'm BFing and it's going really well. I have some sore nips, but how could you not?! Both girls are latching on like pros and I'm able to get a good amount with pumping. Win win!
Now, I just want to go back in time and re-live every second of my pregnancy and my delivery and this past week again. It has been the most amazing surreal and humanizing 9+ months of my entire life. To see these perfect litte miracles and what blessings my DH and I have been given..... sigh, well, now I'm crying.
So... without further delay... After Three Long Years and Many Tears, Our Baby Girls are Finally Here. Introducing our little Charlie Bear and Ellie Bellie:
Charlotte Kelly: 5 lbs. 14 oz. 18 inches
Elliot Marie: 6 lbs. 10 oz. 19 inches

After 2+ years and multiple treatment cycles,
including an IVF vacation in Costa Rica/Panama,
IVF #2 brought us our miracle baby!

Me= 37 and DH = 41
Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)
IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN
IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.
IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132. Lil is here!
TTC#2: Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.
IVF #4: BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN
IVF #5: MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN
IVF #6: (New RE): Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN
FET#1: BFN

Baby B's heart stop beating at 9 weeks 5 days
Our little miracle baby is a boy.
Baby Boy Owen and Baby Girl Avery were born too early on Feb. 13, 2011 due to a pedunculated fibroid, incompetent cervix and suspected placental abruption.
