dry scalp?!? Help!!!

For a few weeks now I have had dry scalp and itchiness!  Im sure it has something to do with the weather changing and the air drying out, I have tried head and shoulders but it dosnt seem to help. Has anyone else had this issue, if so what did you use to help this? I hate looking in the mirror and seeing white flakes in my hair!!! TIA!!

Re: dry scalp?!? Help!!!

  • I always have super dry scalp. I use moisturizing shampoo, leave in conditioner, and a spray lotion/detangler. I also only wash my hair about every 4-5 days. I look like a dog with fleas for the first day or two after waching.

  • Mine is annoying as well - it's only in one patch right in front. I rub olive oil in my scalp at night and that temporarily helps.

  • My husband has really dry scalp too.  I get him the Head and Shoulders Dry Scalp care.  When he first started using it he said it burned a little (probably becuase it was too try, you know the same thing that happens with dry skin and lotion) but after about a week he had no trouble anymore.

  • I have heard of using vinegar and it working really well but I am afraid of smelling like vinegar afterwards..lol
