It is not hard to make a nice home cooked meal from scratch using fresh (preferably organic) ingredients (especially meats, dairy and produce). We really don't know all the (toxic) crap they put in canned and frozen meals. Do yourself (and your babies) a favor and put a little time into this. Baby food is the easiest thing to do. It is also more budget friendly. I know some say I don't have time...but really it does not take much to boil/steam/roast some veggies or fruits to puree or make a nice protein and veggie soup (chicken, veal, meat, etc.). You can make a few days worth and/or freeze. The meals I make are most of the time 30-45 min prep and cook time. On occasion I may make something that requires more time. It is so crucial to our health. I stress the organic because of the mass production of food and all the pesticides and hormones they pump into the items to make more faster to sell. No doubt in my mind this is the reason we see the cancer rate increasing and children are going through puberty much sooner in life.

if you have a food processor or blender it will do just fine. We have a Magic Bullet and a couple food processors (different sizes...mini chop and the regular one) plus a blender. Although it is super cute
But not just for them....we need to be conscious of what we put in our mouths and our other children that are older (if you have more than 1)

I know... We do have a blender but not a food processor. Every time we see the Baby Bullet infomercial DH gets really excited about it. I told him a steamer and the blender would work just fine, but he's set on buying it. haha.
munchkin makes these awesome bpa free individual containers (4 pack) I found them at Target. I prefer those vs the ones on a tray because they can be transported in a lunch box.

DH and I have been looking at this. Have you used or seen it? The Beaba Baby Cook. If people really are complaining that they don't have the time, they can check this out too - it steams fruits, veggies, and meats, then it purees them. You just dump the food into containers and freeze it. The babycook even has a defrost mode where it defrosts baby's food... just an interesting product that is also bpa free and looks like it would cut down on some prep and time.

That's it! That's the one DH and I saw at Williams Sonoma! I'm going to have to give him those details because that's probably a better choice than the Baby Bullet! Thanks!
