There should be a class on this stuff...

My H and I are really interested in cloth diapering and have been studying up on all the possibilities and options and what not to do with it. I really wish I could just go take a class on this somewhere where I can see and touch and experience it all instead of just reading endless lists of information and charts and reviews...I love that we're doing it, it's just exhausting to get started when I don't actually know anyone that is doing it.

    Not sure where you live, but if there's a cloth diaper store nearby they probably do offer classes!  Might be something to look into.  If you don't have any, have you checked out youtube?  There's a series called CDing 101 that's pretty good.

    we have a cloth diaper service in our area that has classes on the different types of diapers as well as how to care for them.  I plan on attending that.  Hope you find something similar near you.

    Some cloth diaper stores or diaper services in your area might offer cloth diaper classes.

    I think youtube is also a great place to look, it's not in person but at least it's good visuals instead of pages and pages of text to go through.

    DH and I actually took a class and I have to say that it helped a lot! Like PP said, look for a cloth diaper store in your area and see if they offer classes.

    A lot of CD stores do offer classes!  While I didn't take a class, I did find it extremely helpful to visit a store, talk with a sales person, and just touch, feel, and play around with many of the different options.  I really don't think I could have wrapped my head around this whole thing without having that opportunity.  So I would say at least do that, even if your nearest real, live CD store is a bit of a distance away, I think you'll be glad you spent the time checking it out!
