Hello ladies!

Here I am, where I never imagined I would be. We lost our LO after an ultrasound showed no growth at 6-8 weeks. I was supposed to be 9w at the time. Had a D&C yesterday when I would have been 11w exactly.

We had time to accept and grieve, and though the grieving will continue, we are hoping to move forward with TTC as soon as doc says it's safe.

About me: 30 y/o. Work in medical field. Favorite hobbies include cooking and drinking wine (which I indulged in this evening). We have one fur baby, a lab mix dog who is 3 years old.

Again, I never thought I would be here but I am glad there is such a place. I do feel a little "damaged" though. Like with my next pregnancy I won't be able to be as excited because I will truly know the heartache that can follow.

I am so sorry for your loss. It looks like, even besides our loss, we have a lot in common though. I'm also 30 and my favorite hobbies are cooking and drinking wine (which I also indulged in tonight). I also have a lab fur baby

I hope you find a lot of comfort and support on this board. I know I have.

Welcome! I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you are able to find comfort and support here.

I am a pretty big wine-o too! Right now enjoying a glass of vouvray (sp? The bottle is upstairs... lol). Cheers!!!

I hope you get the all-clear from your doc soon. I knnow exactly what you mean about having mixed feelings. I think (if I am lucky enough to get a bfp again) that I will be more scared than excited.

I am so sorry for your loss. It's sad that any of us have to be here, but I'm glad you found this board and I hope it brings you comfort.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I have had that feeling of being "damaged" or "broken" in some way too since my loss, but hang in there, the feeling does start to go away eventually. You aren't alone...this board has lots of wonderful ladies that have been through similar experiences. Hope you get the green light to TTC again soon, but I agree that it's super scary to think about getting PG again and the worry that is undoubtedly going to follow. ((Big hugs)) to you.

I also feel the same way but have keep thinking about a post I have read before....each pregnancy/baby deserves the same excitement and happiness which I def think is true so I try to focus on that
