Why oh why did I have to sick TODAY?

Its the longest work day of the entire school year! It's curriculum night so I have to work until 7:30 tonight (and I got here at 7:30 this morning) and of course, I woke up this morning with a full blown head cold. Sore throat, stuffy nose, sneezing, tired, etc. Ugh. I don't think I've gotten this sick this early in the school year before! I can usually fend off the germs until at least October. Being sick pregnant with no medicine is not fun times. I feel a movie time in the classroom this afternoon is in order!

    I hear you on the sickies.  Working with the public, I tend to get sick a few times a year.  I have gotten SO SICK with this pregnancy.  I can't even fight the germs anymore.  I actually had a stomach bug and a fever a few weeks ago.  Ugh.

    You should be allowed to take SOME medicine (tylenol day time, benadryl) unless there are other factors involved. I'd check with your Dr if you haven't already, I got a "safe list" of meds in case I got sick.
