swing sleeping...

If your LO sleeps in a swing at night, do you let it swing the whole night or turn it off after they fall asleep?

Re: swing sleeping...

  • I try and turn it off but sometimes I fall asleep and it stays on until I wake up again.

  • We don't use it at night, but do rely on it in the mornings to get LO down for a nap.  She has been refusing to sleep in the crib during the day for the last week!

I've read in a lot of the sleep books that you shouldn't let babies become reliant on sleep aids (like the swing, car, stroller, etc.) to fall asleep - but it's the only thing that works sometimes.  And I feel her sleep is most important!
