We don't use it at night, but do rely on it in the mornings to get LO down for a nap. She has been refusing to sleep in the crib during the day for the last week!
I've read in a lot of the sleep books that you shouldn't let babies become reliant on sleep aids (like the swing, car, stroller, etc.) to fall asleep - but it's the only thing that works sometimes. And I feel her sleep is most important!
