Hey ladies, it's been a while! I've been totally consumed by Kate's recovery but thought I would stop by with some awesome news this morning! After 22 long, hard, scary days post transplant, I am thrilled to report that Kate is officially engrafted! Alex and I are thrilled that she has reached this milestone!!
She is still having issues - the biggest being the fact that she currently can't keep anything (and by anything I mean not even ice chips) down. She has to transition to oral meds before being released so we will start working on that now! But I know she will get there!
Thank you all for your support thus far! She has a long road ahead but I am thrilled we have reached such an important milestone!
Re: Update on Kate!
So glad I popped back in here to see this. This is incredible news!!
Yay Kate!
Love you, Lindsey : )
I am so happy for this good news. And praying that sweet Kate can start keeping things down and yall can get home!
