I went to the hospital. Arrived at 7 am. Surgery was scheduled for 9. They found a lot more problems than expected so surgery took longer. I believe I was in surgery for 2 hours and left the hospital at 1 pm. I don't remember the exact time line but I was home for a late lunch.
I went to a hospital. Mine was supposed to just be a laproscopy and take less than an hour, but she couldn't remove the cyst that way. It ended up being a laprotomy & took 3 hours overall.
I went home after being in the recovery room 30-45 minutes I believe. The doc never told my husband or mom that she had to do a longer procedure, so they were a little worried, but it came out fine.
I will add that they said the 'CO2 dispersion was mild'. I'm pretty tough & pain tolerant and I thought an elephant sat on my chest the next day. We almost went to the ER. I thought I was going to suffocate, but my hubby pulled me out of bed and when I stood up & walked around it helped 'release' the gas. Throughout the week, I did feel the gas move to my shoulder & that hurt much more than 'mild pain'.

I was at a surgery center and was under general anesthesia. My lap took about 2 hours, but it was only supposed to take about a half an hour. I had an ovarian tumor (which my doc originally thought was a cyst) and that's the only thing I went in for, but he found stage 3 endo, adhesions (my left ovary was completely adhered to my pelvic wall) that he lasered, and he decided to do an HSG while he was in there (I had already okayed it if he thought it was necessary). I went home just an hour or two after surgery. Was totally worth it since I ended up having a lot of issues, and the recovery was not bad at all. Just sore and slow going for about 4-5 days.

My RE's office has their own surgery center but it's right next to a major hospital.
The lap took about 1 hr 45 mins. I was in post op for about 2 hours (took me a while to pee the appropriate amount). They were also doing a hysteroscopy to remove my septum
Did you go to an outpatient center? a hosptial? It was a surgery center. Similar to an outpatient center.
How long did the lap take? And when did you go home? I had a lap and an unexpected appendectomy. It took about 2 hours. I went home about 2 hours after surgery... I think.
ETA: Did you go under general anesthesia or local? General. The best sleep I ever had.

I had to be at the hospital at 5:30 AM, surgery was scheduled for 7:30. They were taking me back around 7:15. When I opened my eyes in recovery it was around 10:00. I didn't stay there very long and they moved me to the other recovery room where they brought me water and crackers and told me I had to pee before I could go. It doesn't seem like I was there that long, but it was a couple hours, we left around 12:30.
It was general anesthesia. I know some people have sore throats afterward, but mine wasn't sore. It just felt really DRY.

Mine was at a surgery center. I was probably there about 3 hours and only about 30 minutes of actual surgery. My appt. was at 1:30 and they didn't get me in until 3. I was soooo hungry and thirsty! I was under general anesthesia.
I went to an outpatient center and had a 10:30 arrival time. I had other procedures done other than a lap and my RE said I was in the OR for an hour. I arrived home at 4:30 and it was approximately 1 hour drive. I think we left at 3:15 ish. I went under using general anesthesia.
