Mine woke up around 2am or 3am for a week and 1/2 right after she turned 4months.
mine is going through that right now---for the last week waking up anywhere from 12:30-2:30 for a feeding, which he never does.
Mine is doing the same thing right now. He will be 5 months old this weekend. He has also just been generally a bit "off" in the sleeping department since he turned 4 months old...random wake-ups, shorter naps, fewer naps, longer naps some days, difficulty falling asleep.
dd has been the easiest sleeper since day 1. the past two weeks she has been really hard to get to sleep (instead of going to bed awake and calm she has been waking every 8-10 min 4 or 5 times until she finally falls asleep for good) and not sleeping as well (waking up 2-4 times a night instead of sleeping a 12 hour chunk). not fun. i think she nurses less during the day so she is maybe making up for it by feeding during the night when she's not so distracted. i also think she is obsessed with trying to roll over (which is not helping) and she seems to have forgotten how to suck her thumb (which used to help her back to sleep). good times around here.
if i learned anything with ds though, it's that as soon as you think you have a system- they change. so i'm trying to remember that and not to be too bummed about my junky sleep lately.
I think DD is just finishing it up now and it's been going on for about 3 weeks. She went from waking once a night to 7-8 times a night. She also went from eating 24-28 ounces during the day to only 16-20 ounces a day -- she made up for it at night.
Last week DS started waking up multiple times a night, when he had previously been up on once per night. He has also started fighting sleep...last night from the beginning of the bedtime routine to sleep for good took 2 hours and a drive around the block to calm him.
This better end soon because I can't take it much longer, it is SO much worse than any other phase we've experienced. Not fun to go to work all day and come home only to be screamed at and unable to console your baby. The only time he is happy is in the morning when we have to leave him.
