baby heart rate 150??

According to the Old wives tale... is 150 a boy or girl?? I have an U/S in 1 1/2 weeks but i am sooooo anxious! and i have a feeling that baby will not cooperate with us!!

    Our son was in the 150's and he's definately a boy. Now he's in the 140's.

    Old wives tale says under 140 = boy, over 140 = girl.

    OWT says girl.

    But my DD and her consistently in the 130's hb would tell you otherwise. As would my current pregnancy (boy) whose rate is up in the 150's.

    I think there is real science behind Old Wives' Tales... that we simply haven't discovered yet. : ) However, since we don't know the rhyme or reason, and there are a lot of exceptions to almost any of those Tales, I wouldn't read too much into it.

    For what it's worth, this baby started off in the 160s, then 150s and has settled down to a pretty consistent HB of 145ish (we have a doppler). It's a boy!

    Both ds and this pregnancy were over 150 and definitely boys

     Well, if there is, it's certainly not this OWT. They've done a couple of studies that completely disproved any connection between fetal heartrate and sex.

    This, but don't count on it being true. DS's was always over 160 and this one (a girl) was 136 at u/s yesterday.
