3 neg HPT- still possible pregnancy? advice

So I'm not sure where to post this but I figured I'd start here and post somewhere else if you all recommend it.  I'm about 2 1/2 weeks late and I've taken 3 pregnancy tests and a blood test.. all negative.  The doctor told me to keep taking pregnancy tests once a week for either 3 months or until I get my period.  At this point could I still really be pregnant even if all the tests have shown up negative? Is 3 months a reasonable amount of time to wait for AF to make an appearance or should I schedule w/another doctor?  Thanks any advice would be appreciated as I tried to research on my own and got thoroughly freaked out on Google!

    I had a negative blood pregnancy test right before I got pregnant with my son.  It just turned out that I ovulated on CD 68.  I would wait it out a bit, but probably not 3 months.  Maybe wait a few more weeks and then request another appointment.  Sorry, I can't be more help, but sometimes our bodies do weird things, especially if you recently stopped taking a hormonal birth control.

    I would not wait 3 months, that is too long.

    But I know blood work can show if you have ovulated, so look into that.

    If you don't chart, you don't really know if you are late.  Most people say to test once a week until AF shows or you hit 60 days without a period.  I have seen that some doctors say to wait 90 days.

    September 2012: Start IF testing

    DH (32): SA is ok, slightly low morph, normal SCSA  Me (32): Slightly low progesterone, hostile CM, carrier for CF, Moderately high NKC, High TNFa, heterozyogous mutated Factor XIII, and +APA

    October 2012-May 2014: 4 failed IUIs, 3 failed IVFs, and 1 failed FETw/donor embryos

    November 2014: IVF w/ICSI #4 Agonist/Antagonist with EPP and Prednisone, Baby Aspirin, Lovenox, and IVIG for immune issues.  Converted to freeze all due to lining issues.  2 blasts frozen on day 6!

    January 2015: FET #2 Cancelled due to lining issues

    April 2015: FET #2.1

    3 months? That's insanely too long. I'd find a new dr if mine gave me advice like that.
